Church Society is pleased to note that in the recent election, a very good number of conservative evangelicals have been elected to serve on the new General Synod.
The number of Church Society members now serving in the three houses of Synod (bishops, clergy, and laity) has increased in this election. We remain committed to playing a full part in the Church of England’s life and structures, and pray that the gospel of Jesus will flourish as a result of all Synod’s discussions and decisions over the next five years.
